Amid today’s complex geopolitical landscape, Europe faces urgent new Defence challenges that call for a unified and responsive industrial base. According to Cingolani, the European Defence industry will be able to overcome fragmentation and build major players capable of competing with US and Chinese companies. “I have no doubt – he explains – that in the future Europe will find a way to create Defence giants through mergers and acquisitions,” he said.
